Liv In Good Company Autumn Road Ride 2019
Liv In Good Company Autumn Road Ride 2019
Harvest Delights

The Liv Autumn Road Ride embraces the changing season with a focus on the land, adventure and fresh produce. You might find yourself riding past vineyards and pastures, or down gravel paths scattered in falling leaves, or along quiet country roads winding into the autumn mist. Whichever path you take, you will end up at a local providore, serving hot coffee and selections of local seasonal produce for you to enjoy.

Above all, the Autumn Ride is an opportunity to experience a new adventure, meet fellow riders and celebrate the joy of cycling.

Join us In Good Company on Saturday April 27.

Frequently Asked Questions
Below are answers to a series of questions we often get asked about our Liv In Good Company events. If your question isn't covered below, please contact your local ride host for more information.
What is a social ride?

A social ride is exactly that; a ride dedicated to being social. It is a casual ride where like-minded cyclists get together to catch up and meet new people while enjoying a pedal. It is not a race, and it’s free for anyone to join.

Can anyone come along?

This event is a women’s only event, and you must be at least 16 years of age to participate.

What type of bike do I need?

This event is best suited to a road bike; however a cyclocross bike may be an option depending on your specific local ride. If you’re unsure if your bike is suitable, please refer to your local ride details or speak to your local ride host.

What should I bring?

In addition to your smiles and friendly faces, don’t forget to bring spares, water, nutrition and anything else you usually bring with you on a road ride. If you need a refresher on roadside basics - like how to fix a flat - see our DIY tips or chat to the friendly team at your nearest Giant Dealer for a quick demo. And of course, don't forget your bike; you'll need a proper road bike for this adventure.

What type of ride is it?

This is a longer social road ride with a sense of adventure. You can expect an assortment of scenic views, pastures and gravel roads. For specific distances and locations, please see your local ride details.

Do I need personal insurance?

Personal insurance is not compulsory but highly recommended if you are a regular cyclist. We suggest checking your relevant state’s governing body for cycling to find the best option for you. Treat a social ride as you would any ride with friends – ride safely and within your abilities.

How do I find out more?

For additional ride details and to get any further questions answered, please contact your local ride host. To discover more about Liv, see our website or stay updated via Instagram.

What happens if it is raining?

Regardless of weather, we will still gather at the nominated post-ride location. So enjoy a sleep-in or an indoor spin session, and then join us for a coffee and chat with your local Liv Ambassadors.

How will I be notified of any changes?

All registered participants will be notified of any major last minute changes via the email address provided. You will also receive a reminder email in the days leading up to the event to ensure you’re across the latest details.

Will there be photographers at the event?

Yes. Depending on which event you attend there may be a photographer or two in attendance to capture the event. These images are used to celebrate the event on social media (for participants and organisers to share), as well as market future Liv events. Please speak to your local event organiser if you have any questions.
